The Partnership between Kooloora and Second Bite started in 2019. The aim of the program is to provide free food to some of the most disadvantaged members of the community.
The program started as a pilot primarily targeting the residents living in and around Bilga Crescent. It quickly grew and expanded to include households living as far as Botany and Maroubra.
Our staff collect the food from the supplier and bring it to Kooloora for sorting and packing. Food parcels are collected by the recipients in the community.
Second bite runs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1pm. Cooked meals are provided on Wednesday only.
To join the program, kindly fill out a registration form at the centre and wait for text message for the parcel collection.
