Mission

Kooloora is a community-managed centre open to all. It is the pulse that moves with change, responding to needs through co-operation, information sharing and action.

Values

Kooloora embodies these values:

1. Reconciliation – We acknowledge the traditional landowners and support reconciliation processes in the local community.
2. Acceptance – We aim to make everybody feel welcome, regardless of race, creed, sexuality, culture or age group; and we acknowledge and encourage the abilities and talents of all.
3. Social justice – Our option is to stand by the marginalised and to support political change in their interests.
4. Environmental concern – We acknowledge that the human species is part of, and dependent on, the natural environment.
5. Professionalism – We aim to provide the best services possible, with a thoroughly professional approach which respects the rights of privacy and confidentiality in all our interactions with people.
