SUPPORTED PLAYGROUP

Playgroup runs every Monday &Wednesday
during school term 10am-12pm

A child’s growth in their developmental years is pivotal and creates great opportunities in areas of learning, physical growth and building behavioral awareness. The importance of community connection, communication and growth is prevalent throughout the playgroup’s warm and friendly nature. The group is a great source of socialization and instinctively builds skills that will help your child learn and grow. The playgroup runs every Monday and Wednesday during the school term from 10 am-12 pm at the Kooloora Community Center.

The Kooloora playgroup focuses of providing a welcoming and friendly environment where parents and their children can connect through community play. There are many fun activities to participate in whilst at play group. These activities include story time dance and sing along, painting, arts and craft and many more. The activities are vast, energetic and allow children and their parents to meet members of the community and form new friendship.

When entering playgroup, new families need to register, bring a gold coin donation and a piece of fruit which will then be cut up collectively and shared amongst the group as part of morning tea along with mini sandwiches.

Kooloora’s playgroup team is extensive offering an array of skilled and dedicated volunteers and staff that can provide advice/referrals regarding childhood behavior, first time parenting, home safe and domestic violence.

All services are free of charge.
