There are many programs tailored for seniors at Kooloora as we strive for a healthier, more active and safer senior community.
The following classes are run at Kooloora, through AIM for Fitness. Please call AIM to book, on:
FITNESS FOR SENIORS
A low impact aerobic class which improves strength flexibility and coordination. This class is for men and women.
9-10am every Tuesday and Friday, excluding school holidays.
This class is for the very frail, those experiencing physical disability or are recovering from illness. This is a chair class with simple movement to music.
10-11am, followed with a light lunch, every Tuesday and Friday excluding school holidays.
Transport through Kooloora can be arranged.
Tai Chi is a type of gentle exercise involving smooth, flowing movements. Even though this class is not specifically for seniors it does help improve strength, balance and flexibility.
1-2pm every Tuesday, excluding school holidays.
